BODY STRUCTURE
In the design of BOREAS, an innovative approach has been followed to eliminate the problems experienced in the 3rd and 4th Generation air handling units mentioned above.
The carcass structure is formed by box profiles produced from electronically powder coated galvanized steel material, and a structure with high mechanical properties has been created without thermal bridges.
The structure consisting of frames made of PVC profile as a panel structure provides thermal bridging. 304 quality stainless steel and walls, fittings and fasteners are used as standard.
Thanks to the rounded corner seals used at the panel joints on the inner surface, a structure that is easier to clean and prevents the accumulation of dirt, independent of the skill and experience of the installer.


COMPONENTS
Fans
Plug fans are used in air handling units to ensure the circulation of the required amount of air depending on the design conditions. Thus, the conditions of high efficiency and easy cleaning are fulfilled.
Batteries
Drain pans are manufactured from 1.2 mm stainless steel as standard. With the 2 sloping design of the ceiling, the water is collected at the corner point. As a standard, coil lamellae are epoxy coated, frames are made of stainless steel and collectors are made of copper material.
Heat Recovery
It is an indispensable equipment for designing air conditioning systems with minimum energy consumption. Heat recovery systems required by projects, especially run-around, are applied to heat recovery systems.
Filter
The module size has been sized to be 102 mm, taking as reference the standard filter dimensions according to EN 779. Filter by-pass sealing is F9. This way: Lower internal pressure losses occur. Sizing is done in standard steps.


AUTOMATION
Automation System
Boreas Automation system offers effective, flexible and user-friendly solutions.
Since it is compatible with commonly used communication protocols, it can communicate with different building automation systems (BMS).
When required, software specific to the air handling unit and process can be installed, thus providing full control over the system.
Power and Control Panel
In Boreas air handling unit, the power and control panel are located in the same body. All methods and applications in the design and manufacture of the panel are carried out in accordance with CE directives. On the power part; The equipment required for the main power supply and distribution to the air handling unit has been located. In the control section, there are control cards and connection points that can be easily integrated into existing BMS systems through open protocols such as KNX, Lon, Bacnet, Modbus.

CE Mark
As a result of the tests carried out in accordance with the standards, it has been observed that the Air Handling Unit will not harm human, animal, plant health and safety and the environment, and it has been found suitable to bear the CE mark.
Hygiene Certificate
As a result of the tests performed in accordance with the hygienic version of Boreas Air Handling Unit VDI 6022 and DIN 1946-4 standards, it has been observed that both product structural properties, impermeability (L1) and thermal bridging (TB1) values ​​exceed the requirements of both standards. The important structural features of the hygiene version, coded as BRS-H, are that all measures have been taken against corrosion in the internal structure and components, as well as easy cleaning and sustainability control.
